Ambrettolide HC is an extremely subtle macrocyclic musk with high diffusion and strength. It is a close analogue of natural musk, which occurs naturally in ambrette seed oil and is one of the most effective musks. In trace amounts, it will enhance other ingredients and is particularly effective when combined with Exaltolide and Ethylene brassylate. A classic musk note with a subtle fruity background, this variation is exceptionally pure and potent - compare this high cis-isomer version with one of the others to appreciate the difference. In trace amounts, it has powerful fixing properties, and when overdosed, it adds a pleasant soft note of red fruits and berries.
